Pre-Approval is Required.
The Business Law exam is also required.
Applicants qualifying agent must provide proof of required experience (2-4 years depending on classification).
The applicant must submit a bond for $500 to $5,000 (depending on the anticipated dollar level of projects in the state), cash collateral or audited financial statement. The applicant must also submit a certificate of competence.
This license is for Transmission Lines, Tanks, and Substations (Non-Electrical)

The New Mexico GF-8 exam has 30 questions, requires a 75% to pass and allows for 125 minutes.
The exam is administered by PSI. Contact PSI to register, once approved, as Pre-Approval is required.

American Contractors does not offer a seminar for the New Mexico GF-8 eam. We do however carry all of the references needed to prepare for the exam as well as a Practice Test CD that familiarizes students with the NASCLA Business and Project Management books with sample tests and answers, for the New Mexico Business Law Exam that is also required.
